Sie geht in aller Frühe, noch eh die Dämmrung schwand, den Weg zur Tagesmühe im ärmlichen Gewand. Die dunklen Nebel feuchten noch in der Straße dicht, sonst sähe man beleuchten ein Lächeln ihr Gesicht. Die Götter mögen wissen, warum sie heimlich lacht -- es weiß es nur das Kissen, was ihr geträumt heut nacht.
