Ich reite stumm aus dem Turnier, Ich trage aller Siege Namen. Ich neige mich vor dem Balkon der Damen Tief. Aber keine winkt mir nach. Ich singe zu der Harfe Ton, Aus der die tiefen Laute steigen, Alle Harfner lauschen und schweigen, Aber die holden Frauen sind entflohen. In meines Wappen schwarzem Feld Sind hundert Kränze aufgehangen, Die gold von hundert Siegen prangen. Aber der Kranz der Liebe fehlt. An meinem Sarge werden sich bücken Ritter und Sänger und werden ihn Mit Lorbeer bedecken und bleichem Jasmin, Aber keine Rose wird ihn schmücken.
