Da vaagned atter i Sjælen dit Blik, Og min Sjæl blev brændende Luer; Jeg vidste ei selv hvor min Fod hengik, Før jeg stod, hvor min Stridsvogn truer. Mig længes efter den blodige Strid, Hvor der ruller Hjul over Døde. Mig glæder ei Viinstokkens favre Tid Og Granatæbleblomster røde.
