Ich weiß nicht, was soll es bedeuten

Language: German (Deutsch)

Ich weiß nicht, was [soll es]1 bedeuten
Daß ich so traurig bin;
Ein Märchen aus [alten]2 Zeiten
Das [kommt]3 mir nicht aus dem Sinn.

Die Luft ist kühl und es dunkelt,
Und ruhig fließt der Rhein;
[Der Gipfel des Berges]4 funkelt
Im Abendsonnenschein.

Die schönste Jungfrau sitzet
Dort oben wunderbar,
Ihr goldnes Geschmeide blitzet
Sie kämmt ihr goldenes Haar.

Sie kämmt es mit [goldenem]5 Kamme
Und singt ein Lied dabei;
Das hat eine wundersame
Gewaltige Melodei.

Den Schiffer im kleinen Schiffe
Ergreift es mit wildem Weh,
Er [schaut]6 nicht die Felsenriffe,
Er [schaut nur hinauf]7 in die Höh.

Ich glaube, die Wellen verschlingen
Am Ende Schiffer und Kahn;
Und das hat mit ihrem Singen
Die Lorelei getan.

Lorelei

Language: Hungarian (Magyar) after the German (Deutsch)

Nem tudom, ez mit is jelentsen,
úgy tudok bánkódni;
egy régi kor bús meséje
a fejemből nem megy ki.

A lég hideg s alkonyodik,
a Rajna fut csendben;
a hegynek csúcsa sugárzik
a naplementében.

A legszebb kisasszony ül
fönn, csodálja magát,
arany ékszere díszéül
fésüli arany haját.

Fésülködik arany fésűvel,
hozzá dalt énekel;
amely csodásan zendül fel
széles dallamíveken,

a hajóst a kis hajóban
elkapja vad színével;
s az nem ügyel zátonyokra,
csak bámul a magasba, föl.

Tudom, ha hullám borul éjjel
hajósra és tutajra,
azt végzetes énekével
Lorelei kavarta.
