Wie froh und frisch mein Sinn sich hebt

Language: German (Deutsch)

Wie froh und frisch mein Sinn sich hebt,
Zurück bleibt alles Bangen,
Die Brust mit neuem Mute strebt,
Erwacht ein neu Verlangen.

Die Sterne spiegeln sich im Meer,
Und golden glänzt die Flut.
Ich rannte taumelnd hin und her,
Und war nicht schlimm, nicht gut.

Doch niedergezogen
Sind Zweifel und wankender Sinn;
O tragt mich, ihr schaukelnden Wogen,
Zur längst ersehnten Heimat hin.

In lieber, dämmernder Ferne,
Dort rufen heimische Lieder,
Aus jeglichem Sterne
Blickt sie mit sanftem Auge nieder.

Ebne dich, du treue Welle,
Führe mich auf fernen Wegen
Zu der vielgeliebten Schwelle,
Endlich meinem Glück entgegen!

Ruhum nasıl da rahatladı, ferahladı

Language: Turkish (Türkçe) after the German (Deutsch)

Ruhum nasıl da rahatladı, ferahladı,
Tüm korkular geride kaldı.
Yüreğim yeni bir atılımla çabalıyor
Ve yeni bir arzu uyanıyor.

Yıldızlar denize yansımış,
Suyun akışı pırıl pırıl.
Ben sarhoş gibi koşuyordum oradan oraya,
Ne kötüydüm ne de iyi.

Artık yok oldu
Şüphe ve bocalayan düşünceler,
Haydi götürün beni salınan dalgalar
Uzun zamandır özlediğim ana vatana.

O canım, alacakaranlık uzaklarda,
Orada vatan şarkıları çınlıyor,
Her yıldızdan
O şefkatle aşağı bakıyor.

Durul artık vefalı dalga,
Götür beni uzaklardaki
O çok sevilen kapıya,
En sonunda, mutluluğuma.
