Doch blickst du zu den Hügeln dort, So wird dein Atem leicht. Das Auge, trüb vom Tränenstrom, Läßt dich durch Schleier sehn, Wie dort des Flusses Allgewalt Ins Uferlose strömt. Ein tiefer Friede füllt die Brust, nun die Seele spürt, Daß auch für sie die Stunde kommt, die sie hinüberführt.
