Róže

Language: Czech (Čeština)

Ach, ty róže, krásná róže,
[čemu si raně]1 rozkvetla,
rozkvétavši pomrzla,
pomrzavši usvědla,
usvěděvši opadla?
Večer seděch, dlúho seděch
do kuropĕnie seděch,
nic doždati nemóžech.
Všě dřiezhy, lúčky sežech.
Usnuch, snieše mi sě ve sně,
jako by mně [nebošce] 2
na pravéj ruce s prsta
svlekl sě zlatý prstének,
smekl sě drahý kamének.
Kamének nenadjidech,
z militka sě nedoždech.

Die Rose

Language: German (Deutsch) after the Czech (Čeština)

Ach du Rose, schöne Rose
was bist du so früh erblüht?
Kam ein Frosthauch rauh bei Nacht
hat dich krank und welk gemacht,
Fielst zu Boden bleich und müd.
Abends harrt'ich, lange harrt'ich,
bis früh die Hähne krähten
so wachte ich ganz allein
bei meiner Kerze Scheine.
Schlief dann und mir ward im Traume
als ob mir verlassnen Maid
wohl von dem rechten Finger
glitte das goldne Ringelein,
fiele der goldne Edelstein,
mein Kleinod ist verloren
nie mehr kommt der Liebste mein.
