Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG
So fahr ich hin zu Jesu Christ,
mein Arm tu ich ausstrecken.
So schlaf ich ein und ruhe fein,
kein mensch kan mich aufwecken.
Denn Jesus Christus, Gottes Sohn
der wird die Himmelstür auftun,

So I journey towards Jesus Christ
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
So I journey towards Jesus Christ,
my arm, I stretch out to you.
So I fall asleep ein and sleep soundly,
no man can wake me.
For Jesus Christ, God's son,
who will open heaven’s gate,
to lead me to eternal life.
