Abendständchen. An Lina

Language: German (Deutsch)

Sey sanft, wie ihre Seele,
Und heiter, wie ihr Blick,
O Abend! und vermähle
Mit seltner Treu das Glück.

Wenn alles schläft, und trübe
Die stille Lampe scheint,
Nur hoffnungslose Liebe
[Noch helle]1 Thränen weint:

Will ich, laß mir's gelingen!
Zu ihrem Fenster gehn,
Ein Lied [von Liebe]2 singen;
Und [schmachtend]3 nach ihr sehn.

Vielleicht, daß Klagetöne
Von meinem Saitenspiel
Mehr wirken auf die Schöne,
Mehr reizen ihr Gefühl;

Vielleicht daß meine Saiten
Und meine Phantasie'n
Ein Herz zur Liebe leiten,
Das unempfindlich schien.

Wenn sie, im sanften Schlummer
Durch Lieder gern gestört,
Halbträumend meinen Kummer
Und meine Leiden hört;

Dann bang, und immer bänger,
Von ihrem Lager steigt,
Und was er litt, ihr Sänger,
Sich selber überzeugt:

Dann leucht' aus deiner Höhe
Herab, geliebter Mond!
Daß ich die [Thräne]4 sehe,
Die meinen Schmerz belohnt.

Serenata de capvespre. A Lina

Language: Catalan (Català) after the German (Deutsch)

Sigues dolç, com la seva ànima,
i clar com el seu esguard,
oh capvespre! I enllaça
la benaurança amb la rara fidelitat.

Quan tot dorm, i somorta
brilla la tranquil•la llàntia,
tan sols l'amor sense esperança
plora encara a llàgrima viva:

voldria, deixa'm aconseguir-ho!
Anar a la seva finestra,
cantar una cançó d'amor
i, delejant, esguardar-la.

Qui sap si la tonada planyívola
de les meves cordes
tindrà més efecte en l'estimada,
estimularà més els seus sentiments;

qui sap si les meves cordes
i la meva fantasia
conduiran vers l'amor un cor
que sembla insensible.

Quan a ella, en un son lleuger,
de bon grat, els meus cants destorbin,
mig en somnis, sentirà
la meva pena i el meu dolor;

llavors neguitosa, i sempre més neguitosa,
es llevarà del seu llit
i ella mateixa entendrà
com pateix el seu cantor:

llavors, des de la teva alçaria,
resplendeix estimada lluna!
Per tal que vegi les llàgrimes
que recompensaran el meu dolor.
