Ai, Etern! Déu meu!
Il•lumina de nou els meus ulls
per tal que no m’adormi en la mort.
Perquè el meu enemic no pugui dir: “Jo l’he vençut!”
L’adversari s’alegraria del meu ocàs.
Però jo confio en la teva bondat,
