l’herba primaveral damunt el teu sepulcre,
on cauen les llàgrimes de l’enyor.
Mai, fins que la mort ens alliberi,
els núvols de l’oblit envoltaran
la teva encisadora imatge.

Feliç tu, tot i que a penes t’havies desclòs,
del goig terrenal i dels somnis dels sentits,
dels dolors i de les il•lusions, t’has separat!
Tu dorms en pau; nosaltres voltem esgarriats,
torbats i neguitosos enmig del garbuix del món
i rarament coneixem la pau.
