Du tratest in den Fensterbogen,
Um deine ausgestreckte Hand
War dir vom Mond ein Silberrand

Nocturne de Chopin en mi bémol majeur.
L'arc de la haute fenêtre était plein de lumière.
Et aussi ton visage sérieux
Se nimbait d'une auréole.
Pas une seule nuit je n'ai été touché
Autant par la lune d'argent,
Ainsi je ressentais au plus profond de moi,
Indiciblement doux, le chant des chants ;
Tu faisais silence. Moi aussi ; le lointain silencieux
Passa dans la lumière. Il n'y avait aucune vie,
Qu'un couple de cygnes sur le lac,
Et au-dessus de nous la course des étoiles.
Tu t'approchas de l'arc de la fenêtre,
Autour de tes mains ouvertes
La lune étirait un liseré d'argent,
Et de même autour de ton cou gracile.
