Dir che ci sono al mondo creature nate fra gli agi e contro il mal protette, che a l'uom prescelto se ne vanno pure spose felici e madri benedette! E non son paghe! E ignorano i dolori di noi cresciute al freddo ed alla fame che stanche alfine di cotanti orrori cerchiamo scampo ne la vita infame! Noi siam le maledette! il nostro cuore alla speranza invano si aprirà: il mondo ci rifiuta anche l'amore!... Quanto dolor!... di me che addiverrà?
