You can help us modernize! The present website has been online for a very long time and we want to bring it up to date. As of May 6, we are $2,380 away from our goal of $15,000 to fund the project. The fully redesigned site will be better for mobile, easier to read and navigate, and ready for the next decade. Please give today to join dozens of other supporters in making this important overhaul possible!

Jette [un collier, un ruban]1 d'or ;

Language: Czech (Čeština) after the French (Français)

Na balkon, kde jsi, dítě zlaté,
chci vstoupit — marná odvaha! —
Ach k náruči mé rozepjaté
tvá bílá ručka nesahá.

Svou dueňu bys oklamala,
svůj řetěz shoď, či pentli líp,
neb struny loutny, na niž’s hrála,
z nich žebřík stoč — či lepší vtip:

Shoď květy, sundej hřeben v chvatu,
spusť na mne vlasů vodopád,
proud jantaru, jenž koupá v zlatu
tvých nožek ovál i tvých pat.

Po žebříku tom zvláštním houpat
se budu lehce v jeden mih,
a nejsa anděl budu stoupat
až do édenu ve vůních!
