Ring‑time
Language: English
If all the year were spring-time, And skies were always blue, Oh, then in pretty ring-time I’d roam about with you; By springing corn and clover’ By meadows fresh with dew, I’d roam the wide world over And sing my songs to you! If all the year were spring-time, And fairy tales were true, Oh, then in happy ring-time I’d give my heart to you; My heart, so wildly beating, Would thrill to life anew, My lips, your fond lips meeting, Would breathe my love to you!
