Glöcklein hell vom Türmlein da, Leutchen rufst du fern und nah: Daß sie morgens früh aufsteh'n, Beten und zur Arbeit geh'n, Beten und zur Arbeit geh'n. Wieder hör' ich, Glöcklein dich, Wann der Mittag zeiget sich, Rufest so mit gutem Klang: Kommt, nehmt Gottes Speis und Trank, Kommt, nehmt Gottes Speis und Trank. Hat der Abend sich genaht, Ist's zum Wirken dann zu spat, Rufest, liebes Glöcklein, du: Leget betend euch zur Ruh, Leget betend euch zur Ruh! Kommt ein Sonntag, kommt ein Fest, Glöcklein du dich hören lässt, Sprichst mich an in Lust und Leid, Zeigst mir meine Lebenszeit, Zeigst mir eine Lebenszeit. Muß ich von der Erden ab, Gehst du mit mir bis an's Grab, Weckst in jeder guten Brust Trauer und doch Hoffnungslust, Trauer und doch Hoffnungslust. Liebes, süßes Glöcklein mein! Immer will ich lauschen dein, Daß dein letzter Abendschlag Führe mich zum Himmelstag, Führe mich zum Himmelstag.
