per uno dei tuoi sguardi
darei tutta la loro luce d'oro.

Separati, vivremmo sempre di stenti,
nel corso dell'anno queste ci darebbero solo
l'autunno coi suoi covoni di spighe,
lo splendore dei fiori della primavera,

ma i tuoi occhi, ah! La benedizione 
di tutto l'anno da loro sgorga ricchissima 
come pioggia soave,
fioritura e frutti insieme.
