Canzone provenzale
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
Nelle valli di Provenza
è nato il canto dei trovatori,
figlio della primavera e dell'amore,
dolci ed intimi compagni.
Splendore di fiori e voce soave
mostrano in esso il padre,
cuore ardente e profondo struggimento
gli vengono dalla madre.
Felici valli di Provenza,
siete sempre state rigogliose di fiori,
ma il vostro fiore più ricco
è lo splednore del canto dei trovatori.
Quei valorosi, splendidi cavalieri,
che ricco ordine di cantori!
Mille volte felici quelle dame
celebrate in questo modo!
Amore dei cantori, alto e nobile,
te voglio rapresentare in soavi immagini
dai giorni del canti,
dal tempo dell'amore:
amore dei cantori!
