Ein' Stimme längst verschollen halt deine Flur entlang, o Cambria, horch, wie dein Prophet, dein Taliesin sang: "Klar liegt vor meiner Seele der Pfad der Werdezeit, es reißt vor mir der Wolkenflor, mein Auge schweift befreit. Ein Licht der Offenbarung hat meinen Geist erhellt, aus ferner Zukunft ist ein Klang zum Sturm emporgeschwellt, Und nie soll untergehen der Freiheit hehres Lied, das durch den Wald mit Harfenklang bis zu den Sternen zieht!"
