Ehmals glaubt ich, alle Küsse, Die ein Weib uns gibt und nimmt, Seien uns, durch Schicksalsschlüsse, Schon urzeitlich vorbestimmt. Küsse nahm ich, und ich küßte So mit Ernst in jener Zeit, Als ob ich erfüllen müßte Taten der Notwendigkeit. Jetzo weiß ich, überflüssig, Wie so manches, ist der Kuß, Und mit leichtern Sinnen küß ich, Glaubenlos im Überfluß.
