Es zieht die Liebe Gottes Durch's All. Der Hirt treibt seine Heerden Zu Thal. Es flüstern leis' die Veilchen Der Au', Und schließen ihre Blüthen, So blau. Der Abendglocke Tönen Verhallt, Im tiefen Schweigen stehet Der Wald. Die Abendlüfte wehen So lind, Und in den Tannen säuselt Der Wind. Geh' ein auch du, mein Herze, Zur Ruh', Es deckt der Friede Gottes Dich zu.
