Füllest wieder Busch und Thal

Language: German (Deutsch)

Füllest wieder Busch und Thal
Still mit Nebelglanz,
Lösest endlich auch einmal
Meine Seele ganz;

Breitest über mein Gefild
Lindernd deinen Blick,
Wie des Freundes Auge mild
Ueber mein Geschick.

Jeden Nachklang fühlt mein Herz
Froh- und trüber Zeit,
Wandle zwischen Freud' und Schmerz
In der Einsamkeit.

Fließe, fließe, lieber Fluß!
Nimmer werd' ich froh,
So verrauschte Scherz und Kuß,
Und die Treue so.

Ich besaß es doch einmal,
Was so köstlich ist!
Daß man doch zu seiner Qual
Nimmer es vergißt!

Rausche, Fluß, das Thal entlang,
Ohne Rast [und]1 Ruh,
Rausche, flüstre meinem Sang
Melodien zu,

Wenn du in der Winternacht
Wüthend überschwillst,
Oder um die Frühlingspracht
Junger Knospen quillst.

Selig, wer sich vor der Welt
Ohne Haß verschließt,
Einen Freund am Busen hält
Und mit dem genießt,

Was, von Menschen nicht gewußt
Oder nicht bedacht,
Durch das Labyrinth der Brust
Wandelt in der Nacht.

Emplis à nouveau buissons et vallons

Language: French (Français) after the German (Deutsch)

Emplis à nouveau buissons et vallons
Silencieux de ton brumeux éclat,
Et enfin libère
Mon âme toute entière.

Étends sur mon domaine
Ton regard apaisant,
Comme l'œil clément d'un ami
Sur ma destinée.

Mon cœur est empli de chaque écho
De ces moments joyeux et troubles,
Il oscille entre joie et peine
Dans la solitude.

Coule, coule chère rivière !
Jamais je ne serai joyeux ;
Quand se sont évanouis les badinages, les baisers
Et la fidélité.

Un jour j'ai pourtant possédé
Quelque chose de si délicieux !
Que malgré ses tourments,
Jamais l'on oublie.

Murmure, rivière, au long de la vallée,
Sans cesse ni repos,
Murmure, chantonne, à ma chanson
Ajoute ta mélodie,

Quand par les nuits d'hiver,
Furieuse, tu débordes,
Ou bien dans la splendeur du printemps
Quand tu es la source des bourgeons.

Bienheureux celui qui du monde,
Sans haine s'est retranché,
Qui tient un ami sur son sein
Et avec lui se réjouit,

Ce qui n'est pas connu des hommes
Ou pas même envisagé
Dans les labyrinthes du cœur
Erre dans la nuit.
