dristig op og ned paa Huset vender. 

  Tænk, om de tramped ned
  Frugten af al vor Sved,
Sæden, vi vor bedste Pleje skjænkte!
  Blev det en Hunnerflok!
  ja det var bittert nok, 
om den vore Tempelbuer sprængte.

  Men med det bedste frelst
  følges vi allerhelst 
af en Slægt, der selv har Ild og Kræfter,

  Tag Grothen under Tugt,
  retled hans frie Flugt,

  Øv ham i Vaabenfærd.
