O, if my love would come to me
Language: English
O, if my love would come to me And say the words he said to me, Another day of love for me, The world would so much brighter be. O, if my love would come to me And hold my hands and look at me, The while he loving spoke to me, My life would so much brighter be. But silent and away from me He has no word of cheer for me. For one dark day he doubted me, And doubting he grew hard to me. Yet though these shadows dark and dree Grow hard and darker yet to see, I will not doubt as he doubts me, But still believe he'll come to me.
