De la mousse et de fins cheveux de Vénus,
Pour que le long de tous les minces ruisseaux
Qui irriguent la solitude fraîche,
Ton scintillement rie et fasse onduler
Les joyaux d'une musique sereine.
Eau, le long de qui les roseaux volages
Qui bougent en jouant leurs doigts azurés
Alternent entre ombre profonde et lumière,
Toi, qui avec des mouvements éphémères reflètes
Sur mon front attentif et sur la vie
De la verdure les ombres fugitives des nuages.
