Mein Roß geht langsam durch die Nacht, In Blumen steht die Heide, Am Monde ziehn die Wolken sacht Wie Lämmer über die Weide. Da kommt ein selig Stillesein In mein bewegt Gemüte: Mir ist es, jetzt gedenkst du mein, Du Herz von reiner Güte. Es ist dein Gruß, was mir so lind Im Windeshauch begegnet; O fühl' auch du den Gruß, mein Kind, Der tausendmal dich segnet.
