Mitten im Sturme, der mich umbrüllte, schlug es wie immer, wie immer warm und hell; während die Finsternis Alles verhüllte, war es im Busen mir licht und hell. Auf beeisten Felsentrümmern stand ich hoch und zagte nicht. Sah ich doch Clarens Lämpchen schimmern, mir in der Ferner ein Hoffnungslicht.
