Es war einmal ein Schneidergesell, der hatte eine Zauberell', die Elle war von Diamant, sein Fingerhut von Zuckerkant. Sein Maß, das war ein Spinnenweb, ein Mückenstich, damit er näht. Die Schere war von Sonnengold, und er war einem Mädchen hold. Ach reichster Schneider von der Welt, was hilft dir all dein Zaubergeld! Sein Herz war auch von Zuckerkant, doch ihres war von Diamant.
