Primavera encisadora, has marxat!
Enlloc, enlloc, pots tu restar!
Allà on veié el teu alegre florejar,
ara bramula l'angoixant tumult de la tardor.

Com n'és de trist el vent que bufa
a través dels matolls, com si plorés;
sospir moribund de la natura
tremolant per els boscatges marcits.

Que aviat! Que aviat! Ha passat  
un altre any.
La remor del bosc pregunta:
"El teu cor ha trobat la benaurança?"

Meravellosa fressa dels boscos
m'has colpit el cor!
Cada any porta fidelment
