Visione marina
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Available translation(s): ENG
Vela dell’Adria rossa e gialla a mare

Marine vision
Language: English  after the Italian (Italiano)
The little trawler from Barbary
bends on the water to sink the stern
and your hands are like the cup
that opens the wind to the sail from Barbary
Red and yellow sail of the Adriatic out to sea
that sailed along the coast bordering the river
and your hands are a light cup
scented with seaweed from your sea!
Your hands that have veins of heaven
with a jellyfish-pearl color
and they are lilies and asphodel flowers,
they grip my soul which is a prisoner
among so much sea and so much sky
the jellyfish like the green wave.
