Thus ardens in igne o Wierookgraan, geronnen traan van ceder- en van lorkenstammen, gebedenbeeld, daar 't vier in speelt, en 't vonkelen van 's herten vlammen. Geen gave van fijn goud en kan mijn hand den Heer, geen myrrha bieden, maar wierook zal, en overal en allen dag, Hem dank bedieden. o Wierookgraan, in 't vier gedaan, en rookende uit mijns herten midden, van aardsch en grauw wordt hemelsch blauw: gaat, wierookgraan, den Heere aanbidden!
