Ihr bangen, schwarzen Stunden!
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Ihr bangen, schwarzen Stunden!
Wann endet eure Qual?
Nach tausend blut'gen Wunden,
Zerreiß, o Herz, einmahl!
Dies hoffnungslose Pochen
Ist mehr als Todes-Schmerz:
Was, ach! hast du verbrochen,
Getreues, armes Herz?

Ist doch der matte Schimmer
Des letzten Sterns erblaßt;
Entwichen mir auf immer,
Was liebend ich umfaßt!
Noch oft wird auf und nieder
Das Licht des Himmels gehn;
Ihr Augen sollt nicht wieder
Den Tag der Liebe sehn.

Die Thränen sind verloren,
Die wir so lang geweint;
Kein Herz für mich gebohren,
So weit die Sonne scheint:
So weit auf Berg und Höhle
Der Mond herunter schaut,
Nicht Eine gute Seele,
Die meiner sich vertraut!

Willkommen, kalter Schauer!
Du Nachtgeflüster du!
Willkommen meiner Trauer!
Im Grabe nur ist Ruh.
Die Treu, im Todtenkranze
Getröstet und versöhnt,
Erhebt sich da zum Glanze
Des Himmels, der sie krönt.

Vosaltres, angoixants, negres hores
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Vosaltres, angoixants, negres hores,
quan cessarà el vostre turment?
Després de mil ferides sagnants,
esquinça’t, oh cor, d’una vegada!
Aquest desesperat palpitar
és pitjor que el dolor de la mort:
Ai! Quin delicte has comès
tu, fidel i pobre cor?

Però el feble besllum
de la darrera estrella s’ha esblaimat;
de mi ha fugit per sempre
el que amb amor havia abraçat!
Encara que sovint s’alci i davalli
la llum del cel;
ulls, vosaltres no tornareu a veure
el dia de l’amor.

S’han perdut les llàgrimes
que durant llarg temps havíem plorat;
per a mi no ha nascut cap cor,
arreu fins a on brilla el sol,
arreu on damunt muntanyes i coves
la lluna aboca el seu esguard,
ni tan sols hi ha una bona ànima
que tingui confiança en mi!

Benvingut, fred estremiment!
Tu, murmuri nocturn, tu!
Benvingut el meu dol!
Només a la tomba es troba el repòs.
La fidelitat, a la corona de morts,
conhortada i reconciliada,
s’enlaira vers l’esclat
del cel, que la corona.
