Der Frühling ist nah! Der Frühling ist da! Es wehen die Lüfte so lau, so lau, Es knospet und sprießet in Wald und Au; Schneeglöckchen schaut unter dem Schnee hervor, Die Lerche steigt jubelnd zum Himmel empor! Der Frühling ist nah! Der Frühling ist da! Die Bächlein rieseln durch's grünende Thal, Es sprudeln und rauschen die Quellen zumal; Die Sonne strahlet so warm und mild, In süßer Wonne die Knospe schwillt. Der Frühling ist nah! Der Frühling ist da! Es regt und bewegt sich allüberall Und klinget wie süßer Frühlingsschall, Und klinget und dringet in's Herz mir hinein, Daß auch da drinnen es Frühling muß sein!
