The pretty garden
Language: English  after the French (Français)
There's a garden, not far away, Full of shadowy bowers, Full of grass and flowers, Where you see little bunnies play And nibble, nibble all day. There the merry cricket Hops about the thicket; No-one calls him wicked, No-one stops his fun; And the little lizard, Nimble as a wizard, Safe from storm and blizzard Just enjoys the sun. There's a garden, not far away, Full of shadowy bowers, Full of grass and flowers, Where you see little bunnies play And nibble, nibble all day. The bee takes up his station, Close to the carnation, Starting a flirtation, Just to pass an hour; Then the wily fellow Steals her honey mellow And flits, fat and yellow, To another flow’r! There's a garden, not far away, Full of shadowy bowers, Full of grass and flowers, Where you see little bunnies play And nibble, nibble all day.
From the Grovlez score.
