Komm, Liebchen, komm zum Waldesgrün, der Frühlingstag will scheiden; schon schwebt das ros'ge Abendglüh'n ums Haupt der Pappelweiden. Die Schwalbe zieht den letzten Kreis, vom Fruchtbaum weh'n die Flocken, und von den Türmen singen leis' den Nachtgesang die Glocken. Wie seltsam im Dämmerlicht die Waldesquellen rauschen! Was die Natur im Traume spricht, das soll das Herz belauschen.
