Le Sommeil du Petit Jésus
Language: French (Français)
Available translation(s): DUT
Voici qu’un ange arrivant,
Aux bons bergers se dévoile.
Laissez le troupeau bêlant,
et suivez l’étoile.
Quand vous serez arrivés,
Une étable vous verrez
Oú doux se repose
Un enfant rose: Le petit Jésus,
Un enfant tout rose et beau,
Qui dans sa crèche fait dododo.
Laissant leurs moutons bèlants
Les bergers font le voyage,
Portant de jolis présents,
Des oeufs, du laitage.
Et quand furent arrivés,
Dans l'étable, prosternés.
Devant l’enfant rose
Qui s’y repose,
Les bergers tremblants
Ont bercé dans son berceau
Le bel enfant qui fait dododo

De slaap van het kindje Jezus
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the French (Français)
Zie een engel verschijnt er
aan de goede herders:
Laat de kudde mekkeren
en volgt de ster.
Bij aankomst
zullen jullie een stal zien
waar heel zacht rust
een roze kind: de kleine Jezus
Een kind heel roze en mooi
dat een dutje doet in zijn kribje.
Hun kudde blatend achterlatend
gaan de herders op reis
met mooie geschenken:
boter, kaas en eieren.
En toen ze aankwamen
in de stal, bogen ze
voor het roze kind
dat daar ligt te rusten.
De bevende herders hebben
het mooie slapende kindje
gewiegd in zijn kribje.
