Auf den Gassen verlassen Im Mondschein zu schlendern. Ich kann's ja nicht ändern, So schlecht mir's gefällt. In der Ferne die Sterne -- Was soll'n sie mir taugen? Ach, ohne zwei Augen Wie dunkel die Welt! Die Gedanken die schwanken Hinauf und hinunter. Einst war ich so munter, Nun ist mir's vergällt. Wie sie's machen, zu lachen, Wenn's Herze betrübt ist!
