Fatigué, je m'allonge sur mon lit,
Pour qu'en dormant j'oublie mon chagrin et son absence.
Mais un rêve se glisse jusqu'à la tête de mon lit
Murmurant à mon oreille :
"Réveille-toi, elle est ici, celle jolie fille,
Ouvre les yeux, pour recevoir son baiser !"
Et avec plaisir j'ouvre mes yeux.
Où est le rêve ? Disparu comme de la fumée.
Où est la fille ? Au-delà de la terre et du lac.
Où est le baiser ? Oh, juste dans mon désir.
