Wie gnädig Gott der Welt beschied Den goldnen Sonnenschein, So dringt ein frohes frisches Lied In unsre Seele ein. Leicht, wie der Sonne wonnig Glühn In's Leben Blüthen ruft, Läßt Blumen uns im Herzen blühn Das Lied voll Lenzesduft. Und wird dein Singen wenig kund, Freu' dich, wo's still beglückt, Es bleiben tief im Waldesgrund Viel Blumen ungepflückt. Drum singe, wenn die sel'ge Brust, Noch liederreich dir schlägt. Warum sie blüht, erfüllt von Lust, Die Blume nimmer frägt.
