Und der Frühling kommt, und die Veilchen blüh'n, Und die Wälder glänzen in schimmerndem Grün, Und die Wiesen dampfen, die Sonne lacht -- Rings jubelndes Singen und Lenzespracht! Und wie sich schwellend die Welt verjüngt, Die Bächlein sprudeln, das Vöglein singt; Da schlich in mein Herz mit seliger Pein Sich jauchzend und feiernd die Liebe ein. Juchhe! der Frühling ist kommen ins Land, Umschlingend die Herzen mit rosigem Band; Wo Wälder und Felder und Menschen sich freun, Da muss es ewiger Frühling sein!
