Von Seide sind gewebt die Decken, Die Kissen goldgestickt; Auf ihnen seh' ich nicht sich strecken Ihn, dem sie sind beschickt. Wer ist bei mir? ich bin allein, Ich und des Mondes Schein, Der traurig in die Kammer blickt. Nach Winternächten, Sommertagen, Nach manchem langen Jahr, Wird man zuletzt zusammen tragen Ins Grab uns als ein Paar.
