Winter leide grüene heide
hat verderbet und den walt;
man mac schouwen an den ouwen,
da lît nu der rîfe kalt.
ich wird alt von selken dingen.
noch klag ich ein ander not,
daz diu liebe mich wil twingen
der ich mich ze dienste ie bot.
ich wil singen  zoren bringen,
daz ich nach ir jâmers won.
 
Jâmers schricke  lîde ich dicke:
daz tuot mînem herzen we.
ich vil tumber  disen kumber
lîden muoz nü aber als ê.
swiez ergê, ich muoz doch sorgen
beide naht und ouch den tac,
daz ich âbent noch den morgen
sî niht sehen sol noch mac.
unverborgen  muoz ich worgen
in ir banden, dunket mich.
