by Georg Christian Dieffenbach (1822 - 1901)

Der Fischer
Language: German (Deutsch)
Am Weiher dort ein Fischer steht
Mit langen Stelzenbeinen;
Gar emsig er nach Fischen späht,
Nach großen und nach kleinen.

Er hat nicht Netz und Angelschnur,
Die Fischlein sich zu fangen,
Er spießt die armen Tierlein nur
Mit einer spitzen Stangen.

Wer mag doch wohl der Fischer sein,
Der Fischer an dem Weiher
Mit langen Spieß und Stelzenbein?
Das ist der Monsieur Reiher.
