Da sie das Ruder führte, Fiel ihr der Ring ins Meer. -- O Fischer auf den Wogen, Komm rasch zum Fischen her! -- Fisch' ich das Ringlein wieder, Was soll mein Fanggeld sein? -- Einhundert Goldzechinen In seidnem Beutelein. -- Behalt' nur die Zechinen, Den Beutel auch zur Stund. Nur einen Kuß der Liebe Will ich von deinem Mund. -- Wenn es mein Vater hörte, Was würd' er sagen, ach? -- Sei still, laß ihn [nichts]1 merken! Ich freie dich hernach.
