A rispettarmi apprenda chi ad obbedir sol nacque, né seco più discenda a patti vili un re. Io deggio al ben del regno ogni mi cura, o sposa: è quell'affanno indegno del tuo bel cor, di te. Oh quanto grato al tuo consiglio, saggio mio figlio, è il genitor! Se ognora a lato, caro, mi sei, nemico agguato non temo allor. (ad Amaltea) Ti calma, e taci.
