Zwischen Mond und Sonne

Language: German (Deutsch)

Ich sah dem Glanz der Sonne nach,
Sie brückte ganz mit Gold den Bach.
Und als ihr Bild ich sah nicht mehr,
Da glänzt es mild vom Rücken her.

Umwandt ich mich, der Mond ging auf.
Die Sonn' entwich, nun komm im Lauf!
Der Sonne Gold zerschmolz im Bach;
Nun streu ihr hold dein Silber nach!

So zwischen Gold und Silberglanz,
O flösse hold mein Leben ganz!
