Evangelium der Nacht
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn so stolz zum Licht der Sterne
Tannenwaldung aufwärts steigt,
die Unnahbarkeit der Ferne
strahlend sich ihr niederneigt,

stehst auch du voll dunkler Schauer
in den Wurzeln wie ein Baum.
Und in deiner Fesseln Trauer
sinkt ein Licht aus jenem Raum.

Erdgeboren erdgebunden,
dennoch traue, dass du du
ragst in haupterhobenen Stunden
unnahbarem Glanze zu.
