stand das Häuschen da,
das Zaiden, sein geliebtes
bestes Katzenmdchen, barg.

als der falsche, harte Kator Mansor
glühend ew'ge Treue schwur.
Der falsche Mansor, der harte Mansor.
Doch beim Morgenstrahle flieht er,
flieht auf immer er.

voll Lieb' und Katzenjammer bricht.
