Ständchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Atme nur leise,
zieh ich die Kreise
hier um dein kleines befriedetes Haus;
schwebende Töne,
schaukelt die Schöne
nicht aus dem goldigen Schlummer heraus.

Säus'le gelinde,
blühende Linde,
wecke sie nicht aus dem lieblichen Traum;
dass sich den Tönen
liebend versöhnen
mag dein Geflüster, du kosender Baum.

Träume sind Lieder,
die dir hernieder
singen die Sterne vom himmlischen Land;
Lieder sind Träume,
spielende Reime,
machen mein innerstes Wünschen bekannt.

Drum in die Lieder
immer und wieder
stiehlt sich dein lieblicher Name so gern:
Selige, Reine,
wäre der meine
deinen beglückenden Träumen nicht fern.
