Děvče v háji

Viděl som dievčatko po háji zelěnom,
čo mu těkly slzy po líčku červenom,
žalostno plakala i lomila ruce,
němohla ukrotif svoje smutné srdce.

Ztratila som poklad od srdéčka mého,
ako ta hrdlička, čo ztrati milého,
keď sa jei chce píti, lětí na studničku,
trepoce krídlama, zamútí vodičku.
